Belmont
Hillside living on the mid-Peninsula
Overview
Belmont is a hillside community on the San Francisco Peninsula, sitting between San Mateo to the north and San Carlos to the south. Much of the city is built into rolling terrain, so streets curve with the land and many homes catch views of the surrounding hills and the bay.
The setting gives Belmont a quieter, residential feel while keeping you close to everything the mid-Peninsula offers. Whether you are looking for a first home or a place to settle in for the long haul, I am happy to walk you through what is currently available and what to expect.
Getting Around
Belmont sits between Highway 101 along the bay and Interstate 280 to the west, which makes it straightforward to head north toward San Francisco or south toward Silicon Valley. That central location is a big part of why people choose this part of the Peninsula.
Caltrain also serves Belmont, giving you a rail option for commuting up and down the corridor without dealing with freeway traffic. If you have questions about commute times to a specific employer or part of the Bay Area, just ask and I will give you an honest read.
